Review: Avalon Organics Essential Lift Smoothing Cleanser with Essential Minerals

I received, courtesy of Avalon Organics, Avalon Organics Essential Lift Smoothing Cleanser with Essential Minerals in order to sample.
I used it to wash my face and remove make up after a concert. It was gentle, and did not leave my skin dry. I also enjoyed the slightly grainy texture.
I then checked the EWG's Cosmetics Database  to ascertain the toxicity of the product. It is rated a ''3.''
When I check on a product, I aim for a ''0.'' If a ''0-rated'' product is too expensive, or too troublesome to obtain, I am happy with a ''1'' or ''2'' score, which is still situated in the ''green'' zone of the database.
A ''3'' already enters the ''yellow'' zone; I try to stay away from it as much as possible, as it tends to contain substances with names such as polysorbate, phenoxyethanol, cocamidopropyl betaine etc. When searching for a skin-care product, I look for uncomplicated names. I want simple ingredients, because those are the ones that will penetrate my skin when I use them.
Based on this assessment, I will continue to wash my face and body with the ''0-rated soap'' I found 14 years ago: Kiss My Face Pure Olive Oil Bar Soap
I buy Kiss My Face Pure Olive Oil Bar Soap at The Grassroots Market
