I had a chance to try, courtesy of Clif, the Clif C bar. The ingredient list looks impressive. Dried fruit, a bit of fruit juice, sea salt, nuts. The fruit is organic (the nuts are not), which makes for about 70% of the bar, and it tastes quite good.
I tried the Cherry Pomegranate bar as well. I must admit that even before I took a bite from it, I was not very attracted to its look. The few sporadic nuts spread on the top of the bar reminded me of the cheap brownies I used to purchase in the high-school cafeteria. The bar is supposed to contain nuts, which I love, but their relative scarceness leaves me with a feeling of hunger rather than satiety.
